Florian Noack discovered the music of Lyapunov at the age of twelve! It was love at first sight, combined with profound perplexity as to why this music had remained unknown for so long. Ten years later, when he set out to record the composer’s complete works, he knew that the Études Transcendantes would be the highpoint of the series.

Last April he made one of his great childhood dreams come true.
