An accomplished virtuoso, an all-round musician, with unmatched powers of memory and dexterity: he may be classified among the heroes of music! He has given several splendid performances of my most difficult organ works, notably my Messe de la Pentecôte . All those who have heard or will hear Louis Thiry can only admire him. Olivier Messiaen
